Celebrating 25 Years of Creative Education

For 25 academic years, Platform One has been at the heart of the Island’s creative community - supporting musicians, artists and innovators to build careers without leaving home.

Since launching in 2000, Platform One has helped shape a generation of creatives who now work across:

  • Live performance

  • Music production

  • Artist management

  • Composition for film, TV and games

Our alumni include internationally recognised artists such as Wet Leg, Coach Party, Lauran Hibberd, Champs and Plastic Mermaids - all contributing to the Island’s growing reputation as a creative hotspot.

Looking Ahead the the Future

To mark this milestone, we’re launching a series of special events, workshops and industry experiences, bringing together students, alumni and the wider creative community.

From live showcases to networking opportunities, this programme will create new ways for local artists, musicians, DJs and creatives to get involved, gain experience and connect. Further details of these will be available on our Events page.

Our flagship anniversary fundraiser and celebration event is taking place at GGs Restaurant & Bar on Saturday 30th May.

Alongside a packed programme of live music and entertainment, the evening will also feature a curated display created by our Sustainable Fashion students, showcasing their designs and garments produced over the past two years. This exhibition highlights the breadth of creativity and talent across the Platform One student community.
