An incredible opportunity to open the Isle of Wight Festival main stage alongside international pop and rock royalty.

Wight Noize gives young and emerging artists and bands the opportunity to showcase their talent to an independent panel of music industry specialists, with the prize of playing the internationally renowned Isle of Wight Festival. Artists and bands also have the opportunity to perform on the Platform One stage at the festival.  

Wight Noize 2025 saw some incredible applications from local bands, artists and singer-songwriters. Five shortlisted acts were invited to perform to an independent panel of music industry judges including Chris Simmons (Smithereen Music Group), Dan Wavell (Solo/Isle of Wight Festival), Josh Robinson (LMSUK/BBC Introducing), Leo Van Dyke (songwriter/producer), Jess Baker (session musician/artist) and Claydon Connor (Strings Bar & venue) where one lucky artist was crowned Wight Noize winner for 2025. The chosen artist will open up the mainstage at Sky presents the Isle of Wight Festival on Saturday 21 June.
