Student Success

Jodie studied on our BTEC L3, BA (Hons) degree and MA. After her studies she became tour manager for Made on the Road where she organised a European tour. Jodie is now the head of events at WaterBear in Brighton where she coordinates live shows and masterclasses with the likes of Royal Blood and Cory Wong, and works with UK Festivals including the Great Escape and ArcTanGent.

“All I even wanted to do was have a career in the music industry so joining Platform One was a dream come true when I was 13! The most important thing I learnt during my time at P1 was that you’ve got to create opportunities for yourself. You have to put yourself out there and be a nice person to work with, despite being out of your comfort zone at times. Being at Platform One have me a huge amount of confidence in my abilities as a musician.”
